Volk Accountant

Volk Accountant is accounting software for small businesses, agencies, and sole traders based in Cyprus. It's designed to handle invoicing, expense tracking, and local tax obligations. You can get set up in under 30 minutes.

The software is built specifically for Cypriot tax rules. This isn't an add-on. VAT rates, reverse charge, and tax treatment are already configured. It prepares your VAT-4 and VIES reports automatically, saving you from manual calculations in spreadsheets.

A key feature is its handling of languages. You can send an invoice to a client in their language, while the official English version required by authorities is generated from the same document. There's no need to create two separate versions.

It automates many common accounting tasks:

• Receipt scanning: Upload a photo or PDF of a receipt, and the software uses OCR to read the vendor, date, and amount automatically.
• Payment matching: Connect your Stripe account to automatically link incoming payments to the correct invoices.
• Accountant portal: Your accountant gets a dedicated, read-only login to see your data and export reports. No more sending files back and forth.
• Recurring invoices: Set up invoices that go out on a regular schedule for retainers or subscriptions.
• Google Drive integration: Import receipts directly from a designated Google Drive folder.

It works well for service-based businesses like consultancies and IT companies, especially those with clients outside of Cyprus. The software does not include features for payroll or complex stock management.
