Akumi

Akumi is an AI API for organizations that can't send sensitive data to US-based providers. It offers an OpenAI-compatible endpoint that keeps all your prompts, models, and data inside the EU, helping you build AI features while meeting GDPR and EU AI Act requirements.

It's a drop-in replacement. You can use your existing OpenAI client and code just by changing the base URL. There's no new SDK to learn or major rewrite needed. This allows you to use EU-resident models without stalling projects over legal and compliance reviews.

Akumi also includes a governance layer with tools you can enable on a per-request basis. These aren't separate projects to set up. They are simple toggles.
